Verner Panton was the avant-gardist and visionary designer who created the original version of Flowerpot pendant lamps in 1968. Influenced by the Flower Power movement, the Flowerpot pendant lamp took on its futuristic form, a design entirely in line with the vibe of the time to break with tradition and embrace innovation.
&Tradition reintroduced the Flowerpot pendant lamps in a new version, matt lacquered or high-gloss, reflecting Verner Panton’s vision of design with innovation at its core. The progressive and minimalist design of the Flowerpot VP2 pendant lamp is still relevant today and fits perfectly into contemporary interiors.
In fact, the Flowerpot VP2 pendant lamp is also a strong example of mathematical precision, with the lower shade being exactly half the size of the upper shade, ensuring a perfectly harmonious shape when they face each other. This reverse positioning ensures that the light is reflected on the inside of the upper lampshade, spreading pleasantly and softly.
The Flowerpot Pendant Lamp VP2 has a diameter of 50cm, making it the largest of the Flowerpot pendant lamps. The ideal size for illuminating a dining table or providing the living room with atmospheric, yet sufficient light. The Flowerpot VP2 pendant lamp is beautiful on its own, but also looks fantastic with several side by side over a long table or in a cluster with a VP1 and VP2.
The Flowerpot VP2 pendant lights are made of deep-drawn lacquered metal. The Flowerpot VP2 is available in glossy, deep colors and a few matt neutrals. The 3m cable is the same color as the lamp, the black version has a black ceiling cap, with all other colors this is white. The lamp is not included, we recommend an E27 of max 60 watts.
